€20 mil plus McKennie AND Iling sounds like massive overpayment.
Wait what the hell. Who the hell is this guy and is he anywhere worth this trade?
If we’re going to lose Iling, chiesa, soule and Kostic this summer I feel like we’re losing so much depth out wide
Di Lorenzo is a maybe, do we rely on Cambiaso and gd de sciglio of all people??
I watch the premier league and he’s a really good player, really tidy with the ball. He was close to joining Arsenal last year. Villa have to sell in order to meet Financial regulations. Considering McKennies contract expires next year and he rejected a renewal it makes sense for him to be in the deal. Illing Jnr came from the next gen so isn’t a huge a loss but a bit suspicious of the 20m on top of that. But he’s a really really good player. Definitely a surprise move from Giuntoli. Signing Luiz maybe is a signal that Rabiot is leaving too?
Definitely a surprise move. I don’t know much about the player to be honest, but a lot of comments here say he’s quality. I’ll miss Wes, he was a great locker room guy, had a wonderful season, and grew a lot here, but if he wasn’t going to renew then this is the best case. Was never sold on Iling, but he never really got a chance. Wish them both the best. Hopefully this turns out to be a good deal for us.
McKennie is valued at 20 and Iling another 20 (although he is English so regular double overpayment should be expected 😂) this puts the deal around 60mil-ish.
I am not sure about the guy as I didnt watch Aston Villa, but Iling wouldn’t really have the chance in Juve even though I rate him highly while I am okay with letting Mckennie go, he was really good at times but fairly inconsistent. Guess time will tell, would hope for a bit less cash in the deal.
Motta midfeilders requests looks like are around midfeilders who are good passers and physical players. Koops, fagioli, luiz, rabiot. And maybe even locatelli. Douglas luiz last time I heard about him was valued 100 million, maybe he is very good idk. But sucks to see illing out eventhough he always wanted to return to England. Good business anyway, especially because getting a top class pl player and giving him 4 million in wages is great.
I don’t know anything about Luiz. But while it scums see Illing go, he didn’t play much with us and if that’s the price to keep Chiesa and souls I’m okay with that
Can someone explain to me how can we do trade deals now, when FIGC was after us for trade deals and plusvalenzas in the past? I know it’s a witch hunt, but I’m interested, what is stopping them from opening another plusvalenza “case”?
What a disastrous deal. What the hell is Giuntoli cooking
I can feel the next points deduction a mile away. I’m already starting to worry.
Douglas luiz-fagioli behind koop is a massive technical upgrade. We will have 3 players who know how to threat a football. This will be very confusing fpr us
Would be good deal For us , mc kennie want pay rise , illing probably not in juve future plans , so 20 mil is decent price considering both illing and mc kennie have 1 year left in contract . But illing really has great crossing skills.1
This deal does feel Coman all over again. Iling Jr is fast and strong and I think will develop to be a great player. We shouldnt be selling a good winger. They are hard to find/develop.
I do get why the club is doing it. Expect to lose other New Gen players also. Youth development is nice but you need a strong 11 first. Its part of the development process of a club were you need a strong 11 with youth ready to fill in roles for aging players/sell at max valuation. We will need to make some sacrifices to get the 11 where it needs to be. Just hope it isnt a sign that Juve is giving up on the New Gen project with this and Manna no longer at the club.
In modern football you kind of need it. Look at Real Madrid and how they got to where they are. Was all from signing teenagers and developing them
Upgrade in the midfield, Forza Juve!🦓
Not happy we’re letting McKennie go, he was great this season as a RWB imo.
