We’ve rarely talked about how consistent this guy was for us this season. Every game he was involved in almost every play! Probably one of our best performers in the 23/24 season!

1. I totally disagree tbh, he had a much stronger first half of the season and was “average” (compared to the level he’s shown to be capable of when in form) in the second half. He had a solid season because he’s a very good player, but he was arguably our most important player in the first half of the season behind Mbappé.

2. He was excellent still don’t think I’ll ever rate him tbh very overrated player. Technically mid and has a mistake in him, his crossing and decision making is also ass.

   When he doesn’t have to think is when he’s at his best. His fitness and speed are big assets just wish he had the brain and technical ability to match.

4. His overlap with dembele can’t be understated. Instead of Lucas, I wish we had someone like Kounde (maybe Marqui can) to play as RCB in a 3 back to push out into a back 4 when Hakimi bombs forward. Our current system is much more forgiving to Nuno (which is good cuz he’s young), but if we really wanted to unlock Hakimi, we need to let him play more like Frimpong for Leverkusen.
