Putin Loses a CRITICAL Recruitment Source!

did Putin just lose one of his most important sources of military Manpower is this just a coincidence or is this part of a larger plan I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s talk about it so this is an interesting series of stories uh that I think collectively represent something pretty interesting so you see here this is an article from literally today Sri Lanka seeks to bring home what it calls duped ex soldiers fighting in the Russian war right Sri Lanka’s economy of course having crashed 2 years ago um sending a lot of young able-bodied men AB Brad defined work and many former Sri Lankan soldiers actually joined forces fighting in Ukraine after Russia’s Invasion now many of the veterans thought they were taking non-combat jobs um but in fact ended up fighting for the Russians right uh the Sri Lankan government says that at least 16 Sri Lankans have been killed and 37 wounded but if we have about a dozen Sri Lankans held as PWS um what we can infer is probably quite a few uh times that are actually being recruited right now Sri Lanka of course uh has a uh pretty robust military right here’s one interview where he said my husband was in the Commando regiment for 22 years a woman said he retired did some odd jobs but it wasn’t enough to manage and then he went to Moscow to take what he what he thought was a non-combat role and he ended up fighting in Ukraine and has gone missing but that’s not the only country that has started to really come after go after Russian recruiters right Nepali as many as 15,000 were recruited to fight in Ukraine on behalf of Russia right and you see this article is from February of this year right pointing out that there’s a large recruitment system churning up churning out um foreign Fighters uh to fight on behalf of Russia but you see Nepal May 6th right just a month ago asked for demanded or sorry asked Russia for the safer turn of its citizens who’ve been recruited in the Russian army right which is fascinating he says the government’s making all efforts to rescue and repatriate nepes Nationals working working in the Russo Ukrainian War right several nepales Nationals recruited in the Russian army have been injured or in distress the real number seems much higher based on sort of the experiences of other foreign fighters who report that nepales Indians bangladeshis are some of the most common um right and when you see 20 plus being killed it’s not unreasonable to say that this they may actually have gotten around 15,000 and then finally today you see the Sri Lankans the Sri Lankan government is also demanding that Russia stop recruiting its veterans oh oh sorry we covered that India that got my stories in order India is also saying listen you have to return Indian citizens who you recruited right he says the Indian government takes the matter very seriously India’s foreign Ministry says it was in touch with Russian authorities to manage the repatriation of two Indians remains other other Indians have died fighting earlier this year and so collectively it seems like some of the most important sources for Putin’s foreign recruitment drives uh namely countries like Bangladesh India uh and Sri Lanka Sri Lanka and Nepal are demanding that Russia stop its recruitment efforts and return its citizens right and this is a bad news for Putin because we know that he has relied on these what they call crypto mobilization efforts um because so many of Russia doesn’t have more citizens that want to fight right Putin refuses to make a general conscription for the Russo Ukrainian War um that would be wildly unpopular and so he’s relying on a bunch of different tactics including recruiting prisoners recruiting uh the very very impoverished and most notably these foreign Fighters but it seems like a lot of these foreign countries in the last maybe 60 days have gone on record come out publicly and said Russia’s doing this and we don’t like it some of them have outlawed Russia from recruiting at all and this kind of move is it’s not crippling right but if it’s true that up to 15,000 nepes were brought in some numbers I’ve heard average around a thousand a month and remember if you’re bringing in a thousand of these overseas Fighters a month and your total number is 30,000 then you’ve actually or 25,000 let’s say then you’ve actually crippled done a 4% damage to the Russian recruitment efforts right which is not insignificant given the attrition first strategy and that’s why I actually think that this is part of a us um likely a us-led uh counter campaign right just as Putin is said okay my goal is to recruit military Manpower fight this gradual War of Attrition uh and then isolate Ukraine diplomatically from its allies and sources of support the US in turn is saying we are going to isolate Russia from its sources of support and given that Ukraine is focused on at trting Russian forces right if they’re being ground down for uh the US they say listen if we can diplomatically cut off sources of Russian Manpower then we can facilitate these kind of wins again imagine if you could add an extra let’s say 1,000 they’re not casualties they’re Fighters that never even made it into the Russian military if you can at trit that out right it’s the same thing as having to you know eliminate them with Munitions on the battlefield so I think this is Central to a strategy and the fact that they all have happened within this relatively small cluster of time to me indicates that this is part of a an organized effort by the um by the West right now guys if you’re looking to of the war that is the information space just like there’s a front of the war that is the Diplomatic space and there’s of course the front of the war that is the battlefield and to Putin these are all The idea that you would join a war in a "non-combat" role is ridiculous (i seriously question the entire thought process behind that being logical to them) because when you think about it if the worst would come to pass every able soldier would be fighting whether it be Russian allied or Ukrainian, No one is exempt from experiencing combat in a WAR most would be counted as incredibly lucky to avoid the heavy fighting at the very least

Makes sense they'd "dupe" vets from the indian subcontinent, even if they aren't prepared for actual frontline combat they know the material and overall tactics since they've had cooperation and the same gear for decades. I wonder what motivated them and if it's indeed US policy (most probably) what it implies for the regional policy overall there.

  13. It’s no surprise Russia is recruiting Bangladeshis, Nepalese, and Central African people’s. Poverty is a hell of a thing. Russia offers a few thousand dollars to join. That amount is laughable in the west but to some of these people that’s a life changing amount of money…If they even get payed.

  19. Not sure if it's mainly because of US/Western diplomacy although diplomats would certainly would have dropped lines. That might be giving US to much pull. With the US aid to Ukraine resuming it's clear the war will not be over this summer. Having years of manpower drain, protest by widows and mothers who lost their sons and husband and at the end having an ever growing contingent of veterans returning simply is not an interesting perspective for any government. And once one government is going to raise it complains to Russia, pressure on other governments will develop to do the same. That it happens in a short space of time in multiple countries is not that strange, especially as they all are in the same region. It does not need an outside force to arrange it all.

  35. If Ukraine or US etc can encourage these small countries to block recruiting I think that can be considered "casualties" / attrition. It is bodies they no longer have access to.
