21. No. There was not a successful way to work out Harry's departure because integral to Harry and Meg's plan was to make a living selling the innermost, closely held knowledge about the RF. At the heart of their plans, they appeared to be mercenaries. That would never have worked under any scenario. I realize you want to depict him as a sympathetic figure. The global community are too smart to fall for that fairytale.

    "He is living the life he wanted now" is nonsensical. The life he is living now, in contrast to his cries to be FREE of the RF, is one where he uses his royal title as currency; emulates, albeit in a very cheap fashion, royal visits to other countries apparently to undermine the RF; appears to use his children as pawns by withholding their company; wants IPP status which is granted to working royals; and, if reports are to be believed, has threatened another tell-all book about the family he claims to "love" so much.
    It appears what he and Meg really want is a royal life without any responsibilities. In effect, to live the life of obscenely wealthy celebrities by using any means possible to monetize Harry's ties to a RF from which he claims he wants "freedom."
    This is the only way for them to achieve wealth because between the two of them it has been written there is not an ounce of talent, ingenuity, or creativity. What they appear to have is an overflowing abundance of naked ambition to make money by any means possible including exploitation of the RF.

    Under this harsh light, it's difficult to muster up a shred of sympathy for the loathsome twosome.
