    The last 2 Ornstein piece of news he tweeted were of Olise, and now with Branthwaite.

    Within 5 mins of Ornstein tweeting, Fabrizio literally just says the same thing on both things. I know he’s just making a living and all that, but man he lives up to the rumours

    So the rumours of Marco Silva, RDZ, and other managerial candidates to replace ETH being SHOCKED at how low their transfer budget is true then.

    I mean, i know it’s negotiations, but this offer is like in FIFA/EA FC Career Mode where you offer too low, & the other manager just gets mad and ends the negotiation and you have to wait a week to re-negotiate 🤣🤣

  8. They’ve been smart. There seemingly tied up the player ahead of other clubs so can’t be swooped on and it looks like Branthwaite is the player most likely on the move before the end of June.

    Everton are desperate and Inited could really turn the screw unless some massive bid comes in out of nowhere for Onana or something. I say this gets done 45m plus add ons last few days of June

Man United are the biggest Club in the country who are always an attraction to players, I get it, but I’m if I’m him I’m staying at us for another year or two and waiting for a Club that’s in a better position to come in! Or at least a Champions League Club, he should be at that level, he is that good.

  20. Whilst the bid is low to expectation – saying he’s
    happy when he’s apparently agreed terms doesn’t mean he’s going to be wanting to stay now Man Utd have come calling respectfully.

    He’s off this summer let’s be honest, Everton need the money but this offer isn’t going to be the one to do it.

    I still think £70m is too steep in comparison to say the Maguire transfer or De Light’s Juve transfer. Or Van Djk who was an established consistent performer at the time and arguably the best defender in the league.

    I understand Everton want to get as much as possible but I think a deal if any will be done around the £50m mark. I think the new directors at Man Utd are clearly going to set a precedent on transfers – if they can succeed with that is another matter but even they know £35m won’t get accepted. It’s to bargain.

    If he does stay at Everton he’d be absolutely getting a massive pay rise as a result of this too which I don’t think they could afford currently given the ownership and debt.

    Do they stick to their valuation (which presumably can’t be more than 45-50ish given this offer) or do they panic late in the window and cave in for the full £70mil
