I am so sad . It's bewildering ? Surely he wasn't dehydrated ? I can't understand it. I had thought the post mortem would have discovered what he'd died of. May God bless him & comfort his family. He will be missed.

People are asking how a man of such extensive medical knowledge could allow himself to be overpowered by heat like this?. It needs to be said, that heat exhaustion can lead to quite severe mental confusion. The poor man may not have even been aware of heat exhaustion creeping up on him. Even a man of his intellect.

My mind wonders… why, if he started to feel unwell, would he not have made a b-line to the bar that was literally on the other side of the wall where there would have been staff/people who could have potentially helped, we will never know what was going on with his mental state in that heat but its tragic this happened and he was so close to other humans 😢😢😢
Health care assistant here . No way would I be walking in temps like that without shade and hydration 😮 Possibly the Doctor already was in a medical situation before he walked away ? Heatstroke is a really thing that can creep up on you and addle your brain . He left his phone behind ? Probably a smarter phone than my little Nokia . Who leaves their smart phones behind these days ? Very sad for all involved . 😢
