Ukraine Driving Russia Out of Serebryanka Forest?!

is Ukraine continuing to push back against Russian forces in the SB banka Forest just what does it mean for the larger war effort and do we know why this is happening I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s get into it okay so I thought this was a really interesting story for a couple of reasons um so we talked a c yesterday about how the Ukrainian forces appear to be pushing back against the Russians and not in Grand sweeping ways but in in grad ual localized tactical counterattacks which may not sound that significant right when you look here at the S banca Forest you can see Russian forces being driven out of at least a several uh looks like about a 1 by 1 and a half km area in the last 24 hours this is you know not any sort of game-changing event this isn’t on the road to anywhere significant and I you know I don’t want to overstate this but what I do think it indicates is that Ukraine is increasingly well resourced and manned well enough that they feel that they can conduct localized counterattacks and this I think is is really significant because for the past several months really since the fall of AD divka we haven’t seen Ukraine on the attack anywhere in the front lines right and and that’s in one hand it’s been part of the Ukrainian strategy um to trade space for time and allow Russian forces to make gradual advances in to um low a territory with low tactical value in order to inflict high levels of casualties but you can’t win the war on defense and the fact that Ukraine is showing an increasing willingness to push Russian forces out of localized areas May indicate that their forces are more and more well resourced and they are more and more ready to start to push back against Russia you can see here there’s also been a more local Counterattack north of umansky you can see Russian forces here attempting to complete this encirclement with Ukrainian forces counterattacking and preventing them from Gaining a foothold again is this strategic or operationally significant not really this is an fighting over an empty field um but it does reflect a Ukraine increasingly willing to push back and go toeo Toe with Russian forces that doesn’t mean that Russian forces aren’t on offense eles you can see in the town of Kiva something with at least some tactical significance Russian forces making an advance into about a one city block area and we know that this is uh over the course of this war Russia is quite effective at seizing these kind of small urban areas advancing block by block um even in the face of Ukrainian uh forces because basically Russian forces can Scurry quickly from building to building and they don’t sit very long exposed to Ukrainian fire and that’s that’s pretty um that’s pretty standard at this point this a standard Russian tactic for making advances so overall again the the takeaway from this is that while Russia still has the initiative um we’re seeing a grow growing signs of Ukraine taking the initiative on their own now we’re going to talk in a second about why but I did want to mention that if you’ve been considering picking up strike gum the zero sugar energy drink alternative with 90 migs of caffeine in every piece and 100 Mig of alpha GPC um now is probably the time because it’s our Father’s Day sale right strike gum.com you can get free shipping on all orders over $40 so if you get two of the uh five packs or just one of the trays you can get that with free shipping and that’s on strike gum.com you can also pick up strike gum on Amazon um but you can’t get the Father’s Day deal The Father’s day shipping deal so be sure to check it out again stri cup.com or Amazon right and we extended it so the Father’s Day deal should last until midnight tonight so don’t wait don’t be like oh I’ll do it you know I’ll do it tomorrow nah do it do it today guys so now when we’re talking about the why why is ukra able to push back well we’ve talked about the US Aid that’s increasingly getting to Ukraine but another country Czechoslovakia or uh or the Czech yeah Czech Republic Czechoslovakia has started an initiative to get a large number of shells this has been ongoing for a long time but essentially the checks are acting as a a buyer on the international stage in order to procure artillery shells from third party countries and what’s fascinating there’s a couple of fascinating details of this first off that the initiative is that European countries are pledging money to the Czech uh to the Czech uh Republic and the Czech Republic has then gone out and been the buyer on the International Community but what’s more interesting is that the uh of the 20 countries who have pledged to participate five countries have already sent money to finance the purchases um that number actually is now 21 Luxembourg joined the initiative um but what’s fascinating is that Czech the Czech Republic has declined to provide specifics saying that it’s up to the individual countries to announce the deals have been fulfilled which means if you notice that this is an opportunity for these countries and oftentimes I suspect they are countries who are trying to maintain uh their neutrality in the conflict they don’t want to run a foul of Russia or even worse run a foul of China and so they say listen we we’d be happy to raise funds with these old artillery shells right they’re countries I suspect that are um uh developing nations that aren’t really in any conflict and are unlikely to be in a conflict in the near future they have these artillery shells and stocks and the price of a single artillery shell is very high right now it’s it’s something in the five or $7,000 a shell so they’re looking and they’re saying listen we’re sitting on this Gold Line we want to liquidate it but we don’t want to be seen as arming one side of the conflict and so the Cs are likely saying listen we’ll provide you the political cover we will you won’t be selling it to Ukraine you’ll be selling it to the Czech Republic and we are not going to announce that we’ve purchased them from you so these governments can now fund their coffers without having the political Fallout that comes with supporting one side in a conflict so it’s a pretty nifty Innovative little political coup here uh by the Czech Republic um and a lot of these rounds are purportedly now getting to the Ukrainian side meaning that as we talked about yesterday the ratio of of fires between Russia and Ukraine is closing right it’s now as little as 5 to1 which given the fact that Russian Artillery uh is is a lower quality the shells are in pretty bad shape a lot of the guns are purportedly uh very worn out and not really able to be replaced and refurbished you’re seeing uh that that qualitative difference could put the ukrainians much closer to parity and that is I think why they’re able to push back anyway guys that’s all I had thank you to the colonel members of combat news.com be sure to 1. Here's what is happening today, in real life. Not your NAFO fantasy land.

As we warned, Netanyahu has dissolved the military cabinet.

He himself will retire in the fall. There will be no guarantees of immunity.

80 Russian military bloggers are under investigation for stealing donations, and other crimes.

The APU landed in Krynki again. The scheme has not changed either: landing-basement-Krasnopol-ashes.

    -Africa Corp

In fact, the second one sank, a truck with a postscript in Israel, but the owner is Ukrainian, shot down by the Houthis the other day. The American destroyer managed to leave. He did not defend two Ukrainian tubs.

    -Africa Corp

The USN destroyer ran away, and 2 cargo ships were hit, one sank.

    BREAKING NEWS:

The Russian MoD under Belousov has dismissed 4 deputy DM's and appointed 3 new ones.

    -Africa Corp

Since August last year, about 1.3 thousand cargo ships have left Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea. Representatives of the AFU fleet boast that this became possible thanks to Banks and the blocking of our fleet with their help.

At the same time, the fact of our goodwill in concluding a grain deal is kept silent. Information is spread across the world's media and social networks. CIPKO continues to work.

    -Africa Corp

So Russia concluded a Black Sea grain deal with NATO, and NATO proceeded to lie and claim they forced the Russian navy out of the Black Sea.

A few days ago, Ukrainian battle bloggers, one by one, began to throw information into the network about the "encirclement of two assault companies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" at the aggregate plant in Volchansk. It looked like this:

    "How many are there?

Well, somewhere under 2 hundred, mixed up with the living, the wounded and the dead…

They want to drink, eat, smoke and they need bullets with grenades…

The longer they stay there, the sooner it all ends."

At the same time, the enemy, with the forces of 108 TRO, 57 and 110 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hardly held buildings both at the factory itself and in the district near the lyceum, where the assault forces of the Russian Federation cleared several streets in a couple of days.

Pumping of tg channels with information on Volchansk continues. TSIPKO is actively engaged in subversive work.

    From Vladislav Ugolny

I am not going to comment on the "boiler" in Volchansk — there is still no adequate evidence that our stormtroopers were surrounded, and counter-fighting in Volchansk is beneficial for us. After all, even the enemy estimates our forces there to be only two companies. This level can be neglected — the main thing is that the Ukrainian threw his reserves at Volchansk.

At the moment, the battles that are significant from an operational point of view are the battle for the Chas Yar and the Seversky Donets — Donbass canal, as well as the Ocheretinsky story, where ours are gradually moving towards Vozdvizhenka.

It is no secret to regular readers that I am a supporter of conservative actions in the form of promotion in the Donbas, relying on large logistics hubs, in the direction of enemy logistics. An ideal example is the Ukrainian support center in Dzerzhinsk.

Unfortunately, our GS has a slightly different vision, as a result of which GV Dnepr performs chilling actions. Actually, I'm not voting for Lapin or Teplinsky in the summer campaign. My conservative choice is Mordvichev.

There will be quite a few military analysts in the near future: there is simply nothing to review, I am not legally ready to talk about GV Dnipro, and GV North is currently grinding the enemy in defensive actions. As soon as our elephants come out to Kurakhovo or Vozdvizhenka, there will be an update. In the meantime, everything is moving towards disaster for the APU, but the Ukrainian is doing his best to delay it. I think that by August, the AFU will no longer have the forces to contain the disaster.

  2. bring back czechoslovakia plz they can be seprate countries but in name both countries should call them self czechoslovakia 😛

  3. The USA is always at its best when it’s helping the little guy! The military aid was slow in coming thanks to Marjorie Greene’s and her pro-Russia caucus but once it restarted it seems to have be moved with US precision.

  4. Some of the shells zre beong deverted from arm dealers. Some are back door off thr books from countries wanting to be low profile.
Then there's old stock that are not useful
Those get remanufactured. Of course there is the exporting countries of Asia.

  5. Please, Czechosolvakia sesed to be in a very peacfull split 30 years ago and now Slovakia supports Putin..

  6. Czech Republic… And Egypt picked sides too finally. They have millions upon millions of 155 mm shells in storage. But 70% of they wheat comes from Ukraine, with little alternative sources. Got to sell ammo for food…

  7. It has been a long time since Slovakia and Czech splitted, over 30 years ago… xD. Czech-Slovakia doesn't exist anynore, it became Slovakia and Czech Republic. And don't mix it up with Slovenia

  8. They are still Czechs to me. Guess I need to catch up on my proper pronouns or is it proper noun usage.

  9. I believe there isn't a FOXPOX viewer that knows what to do with their lives, as they have been thoroughly trained to be– experts in, and say, "I don't know."

  10. FOX Patron: "Oh my Lord!? The earth is light half the day!– and dark half the day!– am I always standing in the light?!?!?! Oh no! I don't know! Which side am I on!?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!??"

  11. Ukraine has better trained troops. It's been clear that after the fizzle of the counter-offensive that we should have spent more time training their officer corps, definitely the weakness of the UAF; too much Soviet thinking.

  12. Please put on an adult man's shirt. Your creamy white lady shoulders are a distraction. Love the show. Keep up the good work.

  13. Greetings Paul are you having a revamp on the office? just noticing your current back drop M8 , also tank tops ended in the 80,s lol cheers John
