Ukrainian troops shot down a Russian Su-25 in Pokrovsk. Video shows soldiers opening fire with a MANPAD rocket – which stands for ‘man-portable air defence’. You can see the rocket lock on and track its target. Suddenly, the soldiers celebrate as the aircraft is hit. More video shows two Ukrainian helicopters in the same area. The Mi-24s pull up before ‘lobbing’ rockets at the Russians. Their targets were likely in the town of Ocheretyne, near Avdiivka. A third piece of footage shows a Russian jet opening fire. The Su-30SM opens fire with an air-to-air missile. It is thought the footage was taken over Russian territory. The air war is heating up in Ukraine as anti-air missiles run short. It has allowed both sides to push aircraft closer to the front. Where they are more likely to come into combat. #russia #ukraine #war

  11. Sinking ships without Navy. Shooting down fighter jets with basically no air force. Ukraine is a miracle country.
