1. Was clear from the second he made a bunch of signings and then figured out he couldn’t keep Messi.

   Laporta is a politician. He wanted Messi gone because then there was no one to rival him. Same reason why Xavi is gone. And so much of the board is gone and replaced with his friends.

   Whatever good he did once, he doesn’t have any issue with burning it down for optics alone.

2. I know most of the Cules will kill me for this, but in that situation, where the club was on the brink of bankruptcy, it was from financial viewpoint 100% right! Everyone on the board knew this, but only Laporta could get away with that lie.
   And from team perspective, i also think it was good that Messi parted his way, mainly because we were playing that tiki taka shit a decade now, look at the national team, thats were Barca needs to go again, and me, who is very sceptical about Flick, see the possibility that he can indeed change our style. Spains pressing yesterday was exactly lile Bayern‘s pressing! And also, maybe Yamal wouldn’t be here were he is, when Messi would be there.

4. Are there better presidents than Laporta? Yea probably.
   Do you want to risk it with a new guy when Barca was on the brink of collapse and Laporta was a known and guaranteed solution? No absolutely not.
