2. “Gotta feel for Palinha”. Yes. Especially since that ridiculous pull out last winter.

   But he renewed his contract. That made things way more challenging in terms of signing him now, right?

   I don’t like it, but Fulham is doing the logical thing which is they won’t let him go for less then what it was agreed when he didn’t even renew. They didn’t even raise the price (reportedly).

   So imo we should just move on. We are not a charity club that turns wishes into reality, we need money to spend elsewhere too. This whole “but he wants to join us so bad” doesn’t stick with me, despite having a soft spot for guys *really* wanting to play for us.

3. I’m very excited for Xavi, his style will really help us greatly. But frankly, I’m worried that the rumours are true

   The rumours being he wants to be guaranteed 100% playtime in PSG, which apparently will not be the case and hence he wants to leave. I read on the PSG sub that this was the reason he wants to leave.

   If that’s the case, I’m afraid there may be some toxicity if he were to come to Bayern

4. If true that the Club World Cup is expected to generate a minimum of €50M per club, that would cover a good chunk of Simons’ fee next summer when its due.
