  2. Can anyone explain how terrible of a defender Tah is?

    From the comments on this sub, it would seem that he makes Maguire look like Maldini. Curious if that’s really the case

    I haven’t watched any Leverkusen games this season so I can’t tell for sure

  3. Not that we need another CB in my opinion but if the board really wants another I wish they would look into Calafiori and not Tah

  4. Never understood how appealing De Ligt was to the fanbase from the first rumor about us signing him. As a defender he’s just not embodying the qualities I like to watch most. I prefer watching the likes of Alaba or Upamecano even if the former is no good at tackling or the latter makes crucial errors in judgement. So long as they’re overall progressive on the ball, I like watching them. Apparently other people find the aspect of actual defending and tackling more interesting than I do.

  5. De Ligt is on 15m€/year. In addition to saving that, we will receive 50m€-something from selling him. Personally, I think that’s a good deal for someone who would be benched next season seeing as Kompany doesnt want him.

    Kimmich is the one we have to keep at all cost.

  6. Today is such a banger day of sports. F1 sprint into Tour de France Stage 1 into F1 Qualifying into Italy vs Switzerland and Germany vs Denmark.

    The only time I’m gonna leave the couch today is for Lunch and Dinner.

  8. Why are a few people turning on De Ligt all of a sudden.

    Yes he is worse in passing and pace compared to Upa or anyone of the modern cb’s. But it is not like he can’t pass at all.

    He is the best and most consistent of all our defenders. I don’t care if we get the best passing cb in the world but without good defensive ability it means nothing.

    And IF Kompany fails (I don’t want him to) and we have sold De Ligt for his system, the it will leave us in trouble.

    And there’s like 5 other players with higher salaries that need to leave or will retire.

  9. Does anybody know if there is a specific bar in London that DfB fans will go to for the game tonight? Would like to be somewhere with a nice atmosphere and lots of other germany fans for the knockouts.
