Israel: Tensions appear between govt and IDF as army says Hamas cannot be eliminated • FRANCE 24
the goals of Israel’s offensive in Gaza were twofold one to bring home hostages alive and eliminate Hamas now the IDF spokesperson says the latter cannot be achieved Daniel hagari escalating his Feud with the Prime Minister when he said and I quote whoever thinks we can eliminate Hamas is mistaken take a listen Hamas is an ideology is rooted in the hearts of the people of Gaza to eliminate it to replace those who run the Public Services those who distribute food or Ste it there must be an alternative that can emerge it’s a decision that has to be taken politically and the Army will implement it until it is Hamas will continue to exist Hamas will not disappear from Gaza it will not dis we can now go across to France 24’s Iris MAA standing by in Jerusalem uh Iris this isn’t the first time we’ve heard a a statement like that we’ve had it from the French President Emanuel mro but now it’s being made uh from the IDF spokesperson how is hagari statement being viewed where you are I think it’s being seen as part of the war if you like between Israel’s politicians and its military there’s been criticism of the mil of the politicians for some time because what they have been saying is that they’re not looking at the day after in Gaza there’s been that criticism from Washington there’s been that criticism from the opposition leader who was in the government and left because there was no plan for the day after now we’re hearing that criticism from the military and I think the military is doing this because there’s been um a lot of criticism of it from rightwing members of this government and it’s positioning itself so that it isn’t the one who’s going to be blamed if the end if this war does not end successfully uh we’ve heard criticisms from ministers in the government open criticism of the leader of the military of the military Chief of Staff we’ve heard criticism from the prime minister’s son who’s based in Miami but manages to tweet and post on social media internationally so that’s the uh Trend and I think what you’re now seeing is the gloves coming off and the military returning the fight to the politicians and saying we the military uh have accepted some responsibility for the events of October the 7th the politicians have not yet the politicians haven’t given us a guide for what’s going to happen afterwards in Gaza and as I’ve heard one military expert say if you don’t know where you’re going you go nowhere interesting interesting that after 8 months people the military is thinking of what comes next and the politicians are so divided on the issue uh another thing story that’s Brewing where you are uh IR is of course hezbollah’s chief that has responded after Israel said its plans uh to go after the group have been approved take listen to what Hassan n had to say Israel knows that no place will be safe from our missiles and our drones and our strikes are not indiscriminate Israel knows that we have a list of targets and we have the ability to reach these targets and we will shake the foundations of Israel IR is Hassan nah really upping the anti with that statement that of course statement comes in the aftermath of uh Israel saying its plans have been approved and validated to go after the group in Lebanon I want to ask you Iris we’ve had a conflict in Gaza that has gone on for over 8 months now it’s still not over yet uh hostages remain inside Gaza let’s not forget um does anyone have an appetite where you are to go after hisbah in Lebanon now that’s a very interesting question because the people I I want to remind everyone that what we have seen over the P past eight months while we’ve been focusing on the war in Gaza is a conflict in the North of Israel in the south of Lebanon that has seen tens of thousands of people on both sides not in their homes displaced in their own countries you know I’ve seen on the Israeli side a few farmers who have stayed to look after their chickens and their apple trees uh and they just have to throw themselves onto the ground whenever there’s incoming it’s a very difficult situation and I think that’s part of the reason that is motivating the Israelis who do want uh who do accept that there will have to be a fight a second fight a second front in Lebanon however you know it’s problematic for both countries let’s look at Israel I’ve heard from a number of military sources that it’s simply Israel simply doesn’t have at the moment enough ammunition for the kind of fight that Sheik Hassan Nala was talking about there that’s a big that’s a big serious fight you know taking out Israel’s power stations taking out all its other or many of its other important bases uh Israel doing the same in Lebanon let’s not forget Lebanon is not hisbah Lebanese people don’t necessarily want this war either so what you see is two enemies um pulling each other closer and closer to align a point of no return which they haven’t yet reached Delano but you know there’s no guarantees that they won’t
The Israeli army’s chief spokesman on Wednesday appeared to question the stated goal of destroying the Hamas militant group in Gaza in a rare public rift between the country’s political and military leadership. France 24’s correspondent in Jerusalem Irris Makler has more.

Israel the warcriminal !
It is too late to admit this after putting all the people in danger and massacred thousands in the both sides.
The alternative is none other than establishing two states solution as the spokesperson said.

Nethanyahu uses army for his power in politics not for the safety of Israelis
Big ears seem to be necessary to be in power in Israel.
it's not about winning its all about being in peace
IDF finally shows it's morality.
🇮🇱😬🇺🇲
Army is taking orders from Netanyahu. Prime minister is calling the shots. Not the wannabee.
Generally people selecting frauds as rulers.
Example: biden, macron, albanese, meloni, snk, mdi etc.
These rulers never sit idle, but create internal and border crisis among beggarly countries.
Dear France 24,
believe.
At least someone is speaking the truth!
We told you long time ago, Hamas is an ideology
Israel farmers protecting their apple trees but IDF destroyed all the olive trees in Gaza some hundreds of years!!
Perhaps nothong comes next and Bippy stays in power idefinitely, with the war and all…
Get Israel out of America's politics and Gazas politics.
are you peope for real, do you even know how war works.
israel goals,
release the hostages,
to remove hamas ability to govern and attack, defeat militarily.
to prevent gaza from becoming a threat again,
those are the goals, from the start.
Somebody is getting fired
I wonder who Netanyahu is going to fire , I wonder I wonder 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Why dont you consider building thing rather than destroying things?
Daniel Hagari is tired of lying. I think Matthew Miller should learn same.
Casualties mounting on the Israeli side:
1. Hostages
2. Economy
3." Moral mask" completedly slipped.
Iys n propaganda POLICY fooling hsmas yeam
Even netanyahu knows it.
Soon they’ll be saying there is one way to be sure.
The evidence after 40k deaths and hundred of thousands of injured
😅😊
Shocking news :Isrealis admit they have lost ,on the OWEN JONES show.
Violence breeds violence! Now all the orphaned children of Gaza will be part of resistance!
Perhaps weapons shipments should be paused until Israel sorts themselves out.
Hamas is an evil spirit.
Of course the IDF is saying that Hamas can't be eliminated, because they've failed. I chat regularly with an old Palestinian man who runs an amazing restaurant. I asked him, "did you hear that the IDF said that Hamas can't be eliminated?" He replied, "I could have told you that months ago. Did they have to kill 50,000 people?"
What have IDF achieved through over 8 months?
*killed their own hostages either by accident or by IDF soldiers
*Destroyed over 70 – 80% of Gaza
*killed over 37 000 civilians
*made the Israel internationally isolated by the global south and many of the global north
*Failed at eliminating Hamas (all those people who lost their loved ones will become Hamas, because Hamas is an idea, a resistance, not like ISIS)
*Created global protests for Palestine
*Disrupted the Arab peace deal which USA have been trying for decades
*Refused two state solution
*got its prime minister into ICC
*got its country blacklisted on a list together with ISIS and Al Qaeda (funny)
*created trouble for its Allies (US, UK, France etc)
Criticism criticism criticism criticism but no action. This is getting old….
him and netanyahu have big ears
Sounds like Israel is suffering a lot of casualties.
It USA giving support to Hamas terrorists through Israel politician betegtz suppose to be arrested and others but IDF should continue until victory with the president/control State of emergency
Israel army thought killing of Innocent Palestinian civilians is the answer and forgot their creating more enemies around the whole world
Nine months ago, saying this was ‘anti-semitic’, now the IDF is saying it, WTF. If people just listened, we could avoid so much sh*t.
With the number of orphans they make. Do they really think they can live in peace in future?
I'm just worried that Benjamin Netanyahu's idea for a plan of what comes after his war on Gaza, is an escalation of war against the Houthi's.
There is already a(n active!) Western military presence in the Red Sea to protect shipping lanes. Which have come under Houthi attack over the past weeks. A couple of sailors have died in these attacks.
So everything there has been sort of teetering on the edge.
Netanyahu says that his military efforts will be finished in Rafah in a 'few weeks'. …Though no articulated plan for what comes after that in Gaza. And why everyone has to wait weeks is anyone's guess. What will be any different in several weeks worth of more bombing buildings to the ground than is different, say, the day after tomorrow, is anyone's guess.
For a short period of time after that (*if* Netanyahu follows through, and stops attacking Gaza, …for some undefined period of time), …there will, for a brief window, be an opportunity for a cease-fire, during which they can negotiate a real end to war in Gaza.
The Houthi's have said that their attacks in the Red Sea and Northern Israel are dependent on whether or not there is a cease-fire in Gaza.
If Netanyahu hasn't already decided that, ….well, as long as he's right there already, maybe just go on right ahead with attacking the Houthi. And so what if he's a bit out-gunned from the get-go. All of these Western battleship are sitting around there anyway. And sure, we'd really hate the idea of being involuntarily drawn into a shooting War-In-The-Middle-East involving a whole bunch of nations, but we probably would just allow his a…, hind-quarters, …to get shot all to pieces, just because he decided to exercise a little too much irresponsible and murderous hubris. …Would we?
If that is the case (and I honestly don't know if it is, one way or the other), …but if it is, that would be the exact moment to apply a zero-tolerance embargo on Netanyahu getting any more Western weapons, for any reason. At least until the peaceful conclusion of all hostilities.
If he feels like starting War-In-The-Middle-East involving a whole bunch of nations, …then let him figure out how to stop it.
And one good way to stop everything (and keep the Israeli people safe, maybe even along with everyone else) is to call an election in Israel, and vote him and his right-wing extremists the heck out of office.
That would sure solve a lot, …for everyone involved.

What are the odds of replacing one ideology with another? An ideology is based on a fundamental belief in providing followers with self-respect and dignity. And if that belief could be augmented chances are that the people would be swayed, to follow.
Ideology is an idealized cause. An ideology is a set of beliefs or philosophies attributed to a person or group of persons, especially those held for non- epistemic reasons. Epistemology is the branch of philosophy concerned with knowledge. Epistemologists study knowledge's nature, origin, and scope, epistemic justification, the rationality of belief, and various related issues. The innate need of people to believe in an ideology, to counter their insecurity and indecisions regarding their adversaries. An ideology is usually based on a fundamental misconception and nurtures consequential social behavior. Ideologies are meant to nurture a cult of deranged beliefs to the point of destruction. There is no place for questioning the core of an ideology. An ideology is something to believe in unquestionably.
In contrast to the Hezbollah doctrine, in the same area of land around 559 to 530 BC (2,090 years ago)
Cyrus, the emperor, recognized that such a large empire with diverse societies required a more liberal approach than usual. Cyrus freed the slaves, declared that all people had the right to choose their religion, and instituted racial equality. Cyrus appointed governors who were empowered to govern their people as long as they were loyal to the kingdom. He also allowed the Israelites to return to their land.
In Cyrus' words: In my experience, men who respond to adversity with humility and kindness are harder to find than those who face adversity with courage. While the ancestor Cyrus gave Israelites the right to return to their land, Hassan Nasrallah vowed to destroy Israel. And by the way, the injustice that Israel does to the Palestinians can also be attributed to a misguided ideology. In times of desperation, the legend of the dragon and the Oracle of Delphi, are just two examples of the reoccurring human need for a change in ideology.
God said “Destroy all evil” …God wills Psalm 37
All IDF must obey Netanyahu coz their real "Hasyem is Netanyahu.
