It would break my heart to see de ligt in united💔
The more I watch Palhinha in a team that wants to have possession (Portugal) the less I actually want him for us.
He did great yesterday in what he was asked to do – covering his defense. Which works against teams that have no intention to dictate the game themselves, like Slovenia yesterday.
But as soon as Portugal were in possession he never demanded the ball nor would anybody pass it to him even when he was *completely* free with like 5 meters space to each side.
We struggled so hard against teams that pressure us during build-up, we don’t need an additional liability in this regard on the field.
Big news today 👀
Got a job interview today and the only thing I can think about is football 🥲
One thing that worries me is leadership and captaincy options.
We are seemingly open to selling Kimmich, de Ligt and Goretzka. Neuer and Müller will retire next year most likely.
That’s basically five of the most influential leaders in our squad and atleast 4 captains (maybe even 5 but I am not sure if de Ligt has ever captained us).
Who is gonna fill that gap? Kane and who else? Are all our captains going to be with the club for less than two years?
Not a bayern fan so I haven’t followed Bayern closely in recent times. Can anyone explain how bad de Ligt’s injury records are?
Does anyone else have the problem that reddit sorts this thread automatically to “best” instead of “new”? Only happening today, never before.
Gnabry and Goretzka should learn from De Ligt and leave the club as they’re unwanted.
> On Alphonso Davies, Real Madrid have been informed of Bayern’s new stance, who after coming close to renewing the full-back’s contract cancelled the offer and are willing to risk losing him for free in 2025. Despite this scenario, contact between the two clubs and Davies’ agency has not stopped. Further developments after the Copa América are not being ruled out [@TheAthleticFC]
“cancelled the offer” – is that new news?
This might be the stupidest question of all time but what would happen if a penalty shoot-out simply won’t end? Is there a maximum of shooters before they throw a coin or something like that?
>Done Deal and confirmed! Guido Della Rovere to Bayern Munich from Cremonese. Contract until 2027. Deal completed by the agent Paolo Scotti. [[NicoSchira](https://x.com/NicoSchira)]
I’m so tired of us suddenly being penny pinchers and wanting to get rid of our best players because of it. Yeah de Ligt and Kimmich are on high wages, so what? We’re one of the biggest clubs in the world we can afford without any trouble tbh. Why are we suddenly pretending like we can only afford squad costs on BvB level lmao

No clue who this is but well
From what I saw from Palhinha yesterday, it’s clear that he’s an incredibly valuable player in defence, but he needs an incredible supporting cast to make up for his deficits in possession. Pavlovic and maybe even Kimmich next to him are a must, we need at least 1-2 players that can collect the ball from defence in order to avoid exposing his lack of ball playing skills. I’m thinking something like this would work the best:
Neuer
Kimmich/Stani – Tah – Upa – Davies
Simons/Kimmich – Palhinha – Pavlovic
Olise – Kane – Musiala
Everyone here except Davies have good skills with the ball and could make up for Palhinha’s problems. One thing is sure though, Laimer and Palhinha can never play together in a match where will have more than 40% possession lol
