8. The first of the three I really think Zidane had not found his way with the team and we won on individual performances and some luck.

   The second and third we were by far the best team in the competition

9. Come on now. Real Madrid was amazing during those years, but luck was a factor in some of those wins–it always is. Salah’s freak injury, Karius disasterclass, Griezmann’s pen miss (partially luck), etc.

   However, I strongly believe you make your own luck in sports. And Zidane’s team was the true embodiment of that.
