How did such a historic building for the club turn to this? Even it isn't used it should be maintained

  1. This is XXI Century Barça: If something doesn’t give money immediately, it can be discarded.

  2. My bet is that they are going to preserve it. This is probably one of the final stages of the campus renovation. This will soon become a museum of sorts.

  3. Ah, dear child… It used to be the place where fiercest of warriors were born. The great army of catalonian boys grew up to be men. Now it’s just history.

  4. It’s been replaced with a modern facility. They’re not letting it crumble, they’re not destroying it or anything, but keeping it pristine is not a priority right now. It honestly looks as good or better than when I saw it in person in 2019. Hopefully it becomes a piece of history within Espai Barça.

  5. Its part of the Barca Espai project, renovation basically. Correct if i am wrong, but IRRC, they will move into the brand new academy with a new hostel so then the farmhouse can be renovated with updated foundation, and then preserved as a historical building.
