  1. That’s cold af, in fact Adidas has never had a dull advertisement regarding Leo, from 2021 Copa America win and all his achievements in between (including the WC win), almost all of their media material regarding Messi has been A+ tier stuff.

    Nike fumbling with the Messi deal (and Steph Curry too) might be some of their worst decisions ever. Not that it has had any effect on their revenue, because they’ve only grown, but imagine how much more PR and tons of money they could’ve generated as Messi (and perhaps Cristiano too) as their ambassadors. Some say it was because they were not matching Adidas’s offer with another theory being Nike not offering 100-200 bucks worth of extra gear for Messi’s father to terminate the deal lol
