what we know for a fact about this recent air strike in the city of sidun or Sida in southern Lebanon uh why is this very important one uh this is this is the main city in southern Lebanon this is the largest city in southern Lebanon and it is not very far from Beirut Sida is only uh is only a couple of tens of kilometers away from Beirut it’s only a 40-minute drive from Beirut so it’s not deep uh deep in Southern Lebanon or very adjacent to the border of Israel in fact it is more than 40 km away from the border with Israel and this is the first time that the city of sidun or Sida was uh attacked uh now what we know for a fact is that it it is a drone air strike uh an Israeli drone has launched two uh small missiles on some sort of a Target located in an open field inside the City it is unclear what that strike was initially aimed at but what we have confirmed for a fact is that there are no casualties in this recent air strike uh also notable is the air strike earlier today in the western Bear Valley also outside of Southern Lebanon Israel assassinated a leader of Al Islam which is the Muslim Brotherhood group in Lebanon and it is also highly affiliated with with Hamas it seems that the commander who was assassinated in that air strike in the western Bea Valley is some sort of a a link between Hamas and alj Islam or the Muslim Brotherhood branch of Lebanon

Israeli missiles struck Lebanon’s third-largest city of Saida on Saturday, according to Lebanese security sources, amid fears of a regional spillover of the Israel-Hamas war. Reporting from Beirut, FRANCE 24’s Rawad Taha explains that Saida is the main city in southern Lebanon, located far from the Israel-Lebanon border, where fighting has intensified in recent days.
