Laporte was unsung hero as well. His Euro campaign was basically a short and condensed version of Stones’s entire 2022/23 campaign. He probably did not have as many doubters because he did not have that many admirers either but him and Kante also had a point to prove due to the current league they play in.
I don’t expect any bum from r/soccer or other subs to remember but City fans should remember that Laporte played thru an injury to ensure that City win the 2021/22 PL tittle.
