He has had not so bad of a season. He has been irregular but that’s it
Form is temporary, skill is permanent.
People may not like this, especially here because everyone seems to have a reason to ignore the bad things/downsides of each player and just talk about whatever good they did once in a blue moon. Rodrygo is an amazing player, he’s one of the best in the world and I really like him, but he will never succeed for us. Not because he is not our level, but because he is not good where he is supposed to play. The stats do show that he plays much better without Vini(usually on the left), and that could be inflated because when there is no Vini, we go to him much more than with Vini on the field, but it definitely has to do with his position too. I think the best course of action would be to let him go somewhere else and get a player who’s better on the right, or just upgrade Arda to a starter.
People with a Turkish background like me only waiting for Arda 🙂
