Ukraine blasts 100th T-90M tank to bits – Putin’s favourite which he described as ‘best in world’

Ukrainian forces have humiliated Vladimir Putin after destroying 100 of the Russian dictator’s favourite tank.

The T-90M Proryv (Breakthrough) was described by Putin as the ‘best tank in the world’.

Vlad said in 2023: ‘As soon as it approaches positions, no chance is left for anyone or anything’.

But Ukrainian forces have been able to decimate huge numbers of the T-90Ms with drone and missile strikes.

And in the last few days open source analysts have confirmed that 100 have now been destroyed on the battlefield.

The Kyiv Post said T-90Ms were valued at $4.5m and Russia is only able to produce 5-10 a month.

Russia had promoted the T-90M tank as direct rival to western tanks like the American M1A2 Abrams, the German Leopard 2A7, and the British Challenger 3.

  44. On this battlefield all tanks are vulnerable. But the way the Russian high command uses them is just organised suicide. Poorly trained crews led by third or fourth rate officers means that Russia has not been able to use its forces in any variation in tactics. Meat wave attacks will eventually result in losses that even Russia can not sustain. With each month of stupidity even it's best forces become so diluted as the be useless.
