Been an extremely slow summer for us it feels. Not a lot of talk about incoming transfer. Maybe I’m just not playing close enough attention. Really would love to keep Kovacic and bring in Bruno G.
At the end of the day we need someone to back up Rodri but is also capable to play further forward.
Can’t leave, only guy who gives Rodri a break even if it’s just playing alongside him
Would be a mistake without a replacement in place

This is a retirement move. Whatever money we’d get is not worth having a definitely good enough squad player around the team.
We know how high the drop off is when we make certain changes, so to have assured quality ready to come in is priceless.
It would be an awfully strange move, unless he’s getting paid a massive whack. Which is doubtful as the salary structure tends to be quite sound.
