There’s gotta be something. Perhaps we have Sissoko’s and the player’s will and we know Rennes will accept?
Or just the player rejected us so now we want to play it safe and pretend that we did not want to overpay
I feel like this is just L’Équipe’s usual negative/inaccurate spin on transfer news
