In the final after 2022, the players wanted to win 5 just like the seniors. Now they want 6. This type of hunger is great to see.
Another one this year
This is what separates us currently from the rest. They are looking up to players who have won more UCLs than every club except us and 3 others. This creates an elite mentality. I mean, it’s kind of simple, if you have to become a legend like them here, you also have to win like them.
Take our past 4 years as an example. We have 4 consecutive UCL SF appearances and 2 wins. This is something many clubs aspire to have in the modern era (and if I am sure, Only Barca with 6 SF and 3 wins in 2009-15 have a better record than this other than our own 8 consecutive SF and 4 wins). But a big difference is this was a transition period for us unlike the other 2 mentioned which were golden eras.
