    He chose Dinho over Zizou but vini over Dinho. He also chose Jude over Neymar. Those are pretty weird choices imo.

  7. I would choose Ronaldinho over Vini, but that’s because I am a fanboy of Dinho

  8. I know Vini over Dinho seems crazy (okay it *is* crazy), but there’s a good chance that by the time Vini retires in about 10-15 years, he genuinely could be considered better than Dinho. You have to remember that it’s not just about ability. If you’re talking about pure ability, then few (if any) come close to Dinho’s pure talent. But dude wasn’t a hard worker, and he could’ve achieved a lot more than he did.

    If Vini has good consistency and longevity, then honestly the sky is the limit for him. Just look at how far he has come from the 20/21 season, where he was universally (not just amongst Madrid fans) a meme for not being able to finish. He puts in insane numbers now. Sure, there are moments and games where I wish his final third decision making was a bit better (in terms of when to pass vs shoot) and many times if the opponents or fans anger him early on he’s lost for the entire game, but given he’s still just 24, I expect him to only improve in this aspect. I don’t think the racism against him will ever come to a 100% stop, but let’s hope that whatever ramifications the leagues are placing on racists at least reduce it.
