•2012 Real Madrid stands out has they dominated La liga even with Mr. 91 goals in a calendar year Lionel Messi’s Barcelona lead by Pep Guardiola with Madrid all together scoring an astonishing 121 goals and only one less loss than Barcelona finished at the top of La liga 9 points clear of them at 100 points but had a disappointing champions league exit in semis in the penalty shootout vs Bayern, if they had beat Bayern I have a strong feeling they could’ve beat Chelsea and won the European double of la liga and Ucl, if only…
•2017 Real Madrid also won La liga but this time to MSN barcelona however they barely won as Barcelona was only one win off from being tied on points with Madrid and winning on gd however this time they did win the champions leagues even getting revenge on Bayern but this time in the quarters instead of the semis and they also won the UEFA super cup and Cwc but 2012 Madrid didn’t qualify for them so they’re excused from that I guess…
• Overall these are very similar, both winning la liga when Messi’s Barcelona was still going strong, knocked out the copa del rey quarterfinals(2012 more excusable since they went out to the eventual winners), and winning the Supercopa against Barcelona(2017 more impressive as they trashed Barca 5-1 and if the wasn’t for the ref’s controversial call of Suarez’s dive giving the penalty it would’ve been 5-0 as apposed to 2012 winning 4-4 on away goals) but what I mainly want to ask is if both of these teams were magically able to play each other who would win and how would the score look like?

Reddit butchered tf out of the 2012 image but just imagine the main team from that era(Ronaldo, Di Maria, Benzema, Ozil, Casillas, Ramos, etc)
2017 isco was out of this world💥
I would replace Isco for Bale as part of the main 11, and as much I loved the 2012 team, I’m going for the one that did a Threepeat.
Almost impossible to compare both of them had different motives, different playstyles, and different points to prove the 2012 was battling the criticism of the whole world because of their previous failures considering the club, and the 2017 squad was a champion and a conqueror telling everyone I’m here to stay and they did.
I Rate both equally as much and love’ em to death.
2017 Madrid was superb. Not only in 1st team quality but also the bench. 2012 had a better Ronaldo but all other players were better versions of themselves in 2017. If these 2 were in a league 2017 win easily
