  3. This offensive can't take a victory for Ukraine. Then what is the point of spending all those lives, media show? On other side it's unbelievable how the Russians missed the Ukrainian preparations and let that happen. Did they let it on purpose so to use stronger force and have this as excuse for taking on Kyiv itself?
    The theory that Ukraine will use those teritorial gains for better negotiation positions doesn't have much sense as the Russians obviously will clear the teritorry back because Ukrainians don't have the manpower and equipment to defend the captured teritorry for too long. Also there will be no negotiations from Russian side while their territory is disrupted.

So whilst the Pokrovsk direction is falling to the Russians… to the point of 2kms a day (12kms left till they reach the outskirts)… they incur into Kursk, using around 30,000 men that are purely made up of newly mobilised brigades as heavy as they can possibly be i.e. Mechanised. So if this fails, ALL the reserves are dusted and massive amounts of armour and AD will be too.

    This is basically Ukraine all in, but advancing into Russia, not taking back land in their own country….

    Let's get our best hand forward before negotiating a deal. Only problem, you can't negotiate if you've spent up you offensive capabilities.
