Russia struggles to repel incursion by Ukraine | DW News
Russia is sending more forces to its Kursk region in an attempt to repel a Ukrainian attack that is now in its fourth day. Russian state media say Moscow is deploying multiple rocket launchers, artillery guns, and heavy tanks to fend off one of Ukraine’s biggest incursions into Russian territory since the war began. The attack has prompted Russia to declare a regional state of emergency. This video obtained by Reuters news agency allegedly shows a destroyed Russian military convoy in the Kursk region. According to Russian estimates, around one thousand Ukrainian troops and more than two dozen armoured vehicles and tanks were involved in the initial attack.

Time will tell
I don't believe in the western narative
Russia will never struggle to contain a small fire
L i b e r t y ✌️
Good. Europe buying Russian gas is a crime
All theoretical assumptions and opinions from people who learned about war from books and classrooms. Lmao 🤣
Less than a grain of salt
Just wait till the end.
Ukraine is just throwing away the lives of their soldiers for a publicity stunt.
The analysis here is absurd. Ukraine may have sent one or two regiments (what the US would call battalions) across the border. They have made a limited advance of up to 20KM on a front of 30 to 40KM. Clearly, Ukraine won't be able to occupy and hold on to this territory with the forces they have allocated to this large border raid. I suspect this is nothing more than an attempt to draw off Russian forces from other fronts and embarrass Putin.
I got an idea, let's swap, all Ukraine land becomes Russia, all Russia's land becomes Ukraine.
Risky? Germans afraid of not convenient solution for their communist leaders?
Russia was never going to go to the bargaining table. Why should they ?
Hum, I wonder how soon they will be able to get to Moscow
Slava Ukraini!
😂😂😂 how will they defend their gain without supply, this is pointless soon they will be out of ammunitions
Ukraine”s version of battle of the bulge – what a waste pf men and equestrian
Putin don't understand weakness only strength, 1000 soldiers breaking through Russia territory, combine NATO Russia is in trouble, the strength of Russia is nuclear weapons, which some others country also possess.
A territory that Ukraine knows it can't or won't hold, how can that be factor in the negotiations?
🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Russia could have had peace. Many Russian children could have still had their fathers. Russia asked for this.
they let this happen so they can use nukes.
Ukrainian reich 😂
I mean, how can you even talk about peace with a nation like the russians? It’s simply not possible.
The more weapons the west, the sooner this war will end.

Don't provoke the Russian Bear.
I fear this may end up like Gettysburg. The south was sick of fighting on their own soil and thought it was about time the north saw the war up close. It didn't end well.
The expert “there are three ways this could go” really? A third grader can predict that as good as anyone else can predict an earthquake.
