The question is not whether Ukraine can take a few square kilometers of Russian territory, because they can. The question is whether Ukraine can KEEP and HOLD on to those territories, in the same way that the Russians have entrenched themselves in 20% of Ukraine's territory for the past 2 1/2 years. And they can't ! Give it a week or two and the invading Ukrainian force would be totally destroyed by Russia. In the end, the sacrifice of the lives of about 1,000 elite, NATO- trained Ukrainian troops would be all for naught. I pity the families of these brave Ukrainian soldiers. 😢 What did they do to deserve a heartless leader like Zelensky?
Seems like a desperate suicide mission for the soldiers the further they push into Russia. I was led to believe Ukraine was running out of fighters. Videos show Ukrainian civilians being rounded up and pressed into service against their will. Are they the ones being sacrificed here? Doesn't appear to make any strategic sense except maybe as a distraction in the headlines? For what, it remains to be seen.
