How deep into Russia can Ukrainian forces advance? | DW News

Authorities in another Russian border region have ordered evacuations over Ukraine’s cross-border incursion.

Civilians living in a district of Belgorod have been ordered by the governor to relocate. Russia has admitted that Ukrainian troops have advanced up to 30 kilometers across the border.

Ukraine’s surprise advance, which started in Kursk, is now in its sixth day. It marks the largest attack on Russian soil since the war began.

  21. UKR will not be able to hold these gains so I hope they have plans (which I am sure they have) for an ordered fighting withdrawal. These are high quality troops that they cannot afford to lose.

  25. Civilians living in a district of Belgorod have been evacuating ever since the Russian Airforce started bombing them unintentionally sometime during last winter! Russian Jets have had large number of long range Jet delivered missiles not engaging & dropping in on the the civilian area's of Belgorod

  27. Ukraine sized more russian land in 1 week than russia ukranian land in 2 years lol. I didnt knew it was so easy to walk into russia and capture cities. Now i understand how the germans managed to reach the caucasus and moscow en 3 months.

  34. Why are not DM news geolocating the Russian and Ukrainian videos so we know what is facts and not. Already other channels have found that Russia is using old videos from inside Ukraine and not any videos from Kursk.
