The Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains one of the most dangerous for the Ukrainian military. More and more settlements are coming under Russian control one after another. Another Russian victory was officially reported on August 12. The Russian Forces confirmed the full control of the village Lisichnoe in the Pokrovsk direction.
    
    According to preliminary reports, the village of Sviridonovka came under Russian control too. As a result of the recent attacks, the Russian Army launched assault in the town of Grodovka.

    In total, in July 2024, Center and South groups of Russian troops liberated 19 settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
