What are your thoughts on Federico Gatti’s performance during his first two seasons with Juventus?

  1. I think he’s a guy who knows how fucking fortunate he is to climb from Serie D to Juventus and know how to work hard and fight for his place under the sun. Not like the kids who think they would be great forever. He’s not the most gifted player but he compensates with hard work and passion. In that sense he reminds me of players like Di Livio, Pessotto, Tacchinardi, who were part of the backbone of historic Juve eras. Utility player. I hope he stays for a decade.

  2. Definitely not a starter, but a hard worker and a-little-above-average player to have as a sub.

  3. I think he’s underestimated.
His technique isn’t that great and he seems goofy.
But he’s a fighter and has that “grinta” which many players seemed to be missing.

I can see him improving a lot

  4. Even after 2 seasons he’s still quite raw. I do feel he has a high ceiling and can become one of those defenders (a la Cheillini, Barzaghli) who could have a big step up in their game and become world class at around 28-30.

Also means he could possibly remain at his current level.

    Time will tell.

  5. I think he is decent but unfortunately I don’t see him performing outside the 3 men backline

  7. He sometimes makes me want to punch a hole in the wall but I like his passion

  9. Overall he hasn’t improved from the season he joined still makes some silly mistakes and losses his markers too often that may be because of his forward runs , but overall he has been good and can be good long term player for juve just like rugani

  10. I think Motta can make him similar as Calafiori, CB who can penetrate deep into attacking face, pass or shoot by himself. Yes he is not yet same level as our great CBs but all the necessary gift are there, he only needs good guidance and improvement which will come with experience.

  11. High potential, for now he is very good for turnover

  12. I dont like it. He had time to show herself but i cant see improvement. Maybe as back up for this Juve now is ok.

  13. Adequate as a backup, not good enough to be a regular first team starter for Juve. I hope I’ll be proven wrong, but I wasn’t impressed with his past two seasons performance.

  14. A solid, no-nonsense centre back, a type of player that always gives his all for the club and never complains? I would take a couple of more Gattis in the team tbh.

And he ain’t Chiellini by any means in skill level, but he reminds me of him. I think he can only improve. Especially if a team as a whole improves as well.
