  1. He better be worth it, also I hope this is the last time Juventus works with Atalanta

  2. Based on principle, I hope we hardball Atalanta anytime they want our players.

  3. Absolutely, he really is that good. But it’s clear that Atalanta is playing the usual “f*** off Juventus” game, just like most of the other Italian teams. It hurts to see us spend so much, but having watched him a lot, I can confidently say he’s ready and absolutely top-class. We actually need him- NOW .

  4. Atalanta are ruining their reputation.
What are they trying to signal, that every other player that joins can only leave if THEY feel like it?
Just accept the reality that he wants to leave and get someone stupid enough to join your stupid club and be done with it.
I can’t believe we’ve done business with these cry babies earlier.

  5. İt’s like Locatelli deal. Infinite. I hope Atalanta will say yes or no soon.

  6. This is getting ridiculous.  Let then have their player that inevitably will play like shit for them because they screwed his career

  7. We’re waffling over €3-€4 million.

Waiting for a PL club to drop €65 million in cash i guess.

  8. He is not worth that much…Anything beyond 45-48 milion considering players will to move is a nerves game played by Atalanta! And it only happens with us,no matter what the club is,if they can profit even one cent more they will play everything in their hand to do it.Atalanta knows really well our situation and its enjoying this stupid ugly game! What other clubs dont understand is that: *WITHOUT JUVENTUS THERE IS NO SERIA A AND NO NATIONAL TEAM* When Juve is in a bad shape, both the Lega A and National are in a bad shape

  9. Isn’t that a bit much for him?

I think this should be the last offer take it or leave it.

  10. Hopefully this transfer window convinces Giuntoli to stop negotiating with Serie A clubs. We’ve spent enough time getting jerked around in this mercato by the likes of Bologna, Atalanta, and Fiorentina

  11. 60 millions is crazy money for Italy…Atalanta is stretching his valuation too far, realistically he’s probably worth around 45/50 millions.

And now that he publicly said he doesn’t want to play there anymore what kind of leverage they have? He’ll be super pissed if they don’t sell him and they risk having to sell him for half that price next year since he doesn’t want to be there anymore.

But anyway, the gist is always the same…we shouldn’t buy players in Italy because other teams hate us….every time we overpay…no matter if it’s Atalanta, Bologna, Fiorentina, Milan, Inter or whatever. It’s much better to do deals with teams outside Italy

  12. We should stop spending money in Italy. They all do this game with us. Stop giving them money, let’s buy abroad. I don’t care about the national team honestly, they can keep doing what they are doing and miss another World Cup for what I care at this point.

  13. 3 months of haggling just to offer 59M instead of the asking price of 60M. No comment.

Atalanta are well within their rights to name their price and not back down. Giuntoli’s strategy to show his cards from the start with Koop and Todibo has clearly not worked out, hope he’s back soon to Douglas/Cabal type of deals.

  14. Wtf is wrong with Atalanta? The player wants out and the transfer fee is so god damn high already. I now have a new club that I hate as much as Inter. Typical nerazzuri clubs.

  15. I wish we tanked and finished 15th rather than being insulted from almost the whole Italian football community

What on earth is wrong with Giuntoli to beg for Koop? Let Atalanta go 4th with him.

  16. Giuntoli is wasting our entire summer on one signing and we are fucked

  17. This is idiotic. We have to stop paying rival Italian teams over the odds for players – particularly when they behave like this.

  18. Why are so many teams so hostile towards us? I get that fans dislike teams that win often. But so do Inter or Milan and the teams are not that hostile to them.

  19. If Atalanta keeps on blackmailing us – because seriously $60m is a lot, we shall teach them a lesson they’ll never forget. In case we fail to sign Koopmeiners, we have to go for O’Riley and offer Celtic what they requested for him and even more. Killing two birds with one stone; signing Atalanta’s target O’Riley and leaving them with a huge deep hard-to-heal wound in their relation with Koopmeiners.

  20. Idk why I’m getting the feeling this will be another Savic situation

  21. They know that Thiago Motta really wants him and insists on getting him. Obviously, they are playing with us. We should have “talked” to other players in the press, so they’d think we have more options.
