There’s this quote I love by Jose Angel Sanchez:

So yes, Galacticos 1.0 was not a failure in my eyes, because it told the world this is where superstars play, even thought the pitch performance wasn’t always there.
That brought CR7 and the 2.0 Galacticos, which in turn brought Vini, Rodrygo, Bellingham and Mbappe.
