  1. Honestly, when you think about it, sure, a medal’s great, but top 8 in the world is nothing to sneeze at.

  2. >Cayman Islands

    >8th place – Swimming (Men’s 50m freestyle) – Jordan Crooks

He was unlucky – there was on 0.08s between 3rd and 8th in that final.

  3. Wait, does it mean that Finland, Nigeria or Vietnam did not have a single medal at the Paris Olympics?

  4. Finland & Estonia : “give us Olympic disc golf!!”

  5. Olympic diplomas are so under appreciated by the general public. I wish they were publicized more in official records to acknowledge the top 8 finishers in every event.

  6. Wow, shout out Nigeria, look at all those 5ths!

    Loved their green zigzag kit

  7. Estonia, Finland, and Nigeria the closest but no cigars

  8. Waiting for the debate on what the correct order for sorting the diploma tally is!

  9. Never heard of an Olympic diploma before. Always learn something new on this sub

  10. My fav Canadian women’s athlete Ellie Black has a wack of these by now. She is a 4x Olympian with a few 5 and 6th place finishes and one 4th place finish. It sucks that she has never been on an Olympic Podium but alas.
