  1. Expecting this to be a landslide – Foden. Outrageously talented individual

  2. I mean I think it’s unquestionably Haaland. It’s just that we know he’s not staying for the rest of his career like we all think Foden will

  3. I guess it comes down to how many young players have we had that had/have the potential to be the best in the world. It’s Foden and Haaland. I’ll go with Foden because he’s from the academy.

  4. Rico for me, I think he can be the best RB in the world in the next few years

  5. Foden, for sure. Savinho looks great in the first couple of matches. It’s a shame Bobb got injured. He was having a great pre-season. I love the young talent we have right now mixed with veterans.

  6. Phil Muthafuckin Phoden. For this one, I would consider how good they were from the start of their city career to what you think their max potential is. According to Wikipedia, he joined when he was 4, so yeah, haha. He’s gone from there to world class, and who knows his ultimate power level. I’m guessing super, superduper Saiyan.

However, if we’re talking about purely top level potential, like who would get the highest potential rating on FIFA or something, then I’d go with Haaland. He’s the same age as Foden and already operating near CR7 and Messi levels, as Pep recently exclaimed, and I when I think objectively, he would probably score higher for potential than Foden.

Another way to think about it is who has the most potential for amount of total growth, but then I think you would probably have to look to the academy, which I don’t think is really the point of the exercise.

TLDR: When I think of the words “Man City” and “Potential”, I think of Phil Foden.

  7. Foden. He can be the best midfielder in the world if he continues to grow and learn.

A 30yo Foden will hopfully be a ridiculous combination of talent and experience.

  8. Currently or from any player ever? Cause foden had biggest upside but in most excited to see Oscar bobb and what he can do

  9. Has to be Phil Foden but I would say Michael Johnson would’ve been a fantastic player if it wasn’t for his bad injury .

  10. Haaland for me. Man is already a GOAT level scorer and has shown flashes of being a creative asset as well as being able to carry the ball during his time at dortmund. Wonder how far he could go if City required him to play a more all rounded role.

  11. Even gonna say foden which is 100% but bobb and rico lewis have mad potential too
