How close is Ukraine to building its own long-range missiles? | DW News

Ukraine has asked for help from its European neighbours following massive Russian airstrikes.
In Kyiv, these residents sheltered in a subway as a series of explosions sounded in the capital. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the missile and drone bombardment was one of the largest of the war. The airstrikes hit energy facilities in some regions, disrupting power and water supplies.

  3. Uhm Ukraine has a half century old tradition of building orbital rockets, so yeah a few cruise missiles is simple stuff… if anything the rocket engines Ukraine makes are too fancy to blow up.

  20. My thoughts: build underground factories to manufacture these missiles and drones. On the Russian push, they're trying to encircle a much larger twin city, and if Ukraine can halt the maneuvers around the outskirts, then it will be a long and costly war fighting through the center for the Russian military.

This anchor is completely gone. he is lost……he must not understand nato and the us shooting down missiles for israel…anything shot at israel over an ocean is shot down by the U.S.A…Being Of african decent he should understand when a group of people is targeted by a aggressor. N0ow that ukraine is taking large amounts of territory, atleast in today's wargame……they are being told that its a distraction while russia is making no larger gains than before kursk started…..They are inching forward…that is it. At a huge cost. When this war is over Russia will not be a continental nation/power. They will be broken up into at least 5 seperate countries / regions. Putin has proven that eastern Caucasians cannot hold / control / and protect a piece of land that size. If japan invaded in the east….it would be all over in 2 weeks.

  27. It is absolutely ridiculous to restrict Ukraine fighting Russia. It definitely shows the fear of Western countries they have from Russia, otherwise why is this happening? It is all based on FEAR!

  28. Expensive isn't much of an argument. American politicians Love saddling American taxpayers with high weapons costs. The money goes to a cabal that control the US government. Nothing better for the American ownership class than endless wars in all parts of the world.

    Or god forbid, Western made missiles 😮
