Alright, I don’t care who we get in the draw today, I just need us to play at home on the first matchday. Already got screwed out of attending a game early this season in the league because we play two away games in a row, so hopefully at least this works out for me.
Also, if we play away first, 5 out of our first 6 competitive matches this season would be away, which is crazy.
Give us Milan
I do wonder, now that Kimmich is set to play in the midfield for us, what will Nagelsmann do. Still play him as a RB or move him to the midfield?

This new CL format requires a further squad depth , this is the inital feeling im getting. Do we have it at the moment, probably not.
More and harder games with the new CL and club world cup and hardest Bundesliga rival in over a decade.
We need a complete CB. Tah is definitely more complete than Kim and has a better mentality and intelligence than Upamecano. He was often last man for Germany in the Euros because of his speed and very good at passing.
Get him in,De Ligt is better in Duels, but Tah is better in passing and speed.
Or loan Chalobah,Skriniar. Anything. A Tah/Ito pairing could give us a lot of control, calm, and fluidity in build up. Aznou over Davies and we can control the Ball much better.
Anyone else feel as if the draw doesn’t really matter?
8 different teams, your going to get a few difficult opponents. Doesn’t have the same feeling as getting a hard or easy group.
However this is the first draw – we’ll see how it looks for each of the top teams, maybe I’m missing something.
I just don’t like the new format. Plenty of upsets already happened the last few years coming out of the groups. The rest of Europe was/ is catching up to a balance almost in both UCL/Europa completions. I just think you will see a larger pool of higher level clubs from same leagues advancing to Knock-outs rather than more surprises from your non highest level leagues.
Give us the hardest possible draws. Man City, Atletico, Madrid, etc.
Unpopular Opinion. I actually really like the new format. From what I’ve seen it’s much more attractive to watch for the casual viewer like me. More exciting encounters in the Group Stage and the Group Stage lasts longer so there isn’t that dry 3 month break.
It also seems like the GS games matter much more since not only does your position determine which opponent you get in the round of 16, but it’s also impossible to be qualified and confirmed Group 1st after 4 matches like we were last year. Even the 7-8th game of the GS should still be exciting with some heavyweights playing against each other fighting over the 1-4 spots.

My draw wishlist for today.
Red -> at home
White -> away
I do like a change, and the new format with two big games atleast sounds nice but isnt it weird that you directly compete with clubs which have a lot different and easier opponents?
The hardest possible draw is probably:
-Real, Mancity, Arsenal, Atleti/Juve, PSV, Salzburg/Lille, Aston Villa, Monaco?
I hope we get Liverpool and Barca from first pot, they need some spanking
>Bayern are hoping Kingsley Coman would make a decision within the next few hours in order to move forward with other personnel matters. Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are working on a deal for Jonathan Tah. But the focus is first on the sale of Coman [@Plettigoal]
Olise in the Paulaner promo 🤣💀
Lacroix off to Palace for 18+3M
My take (speculation!) on the Tah-/Coman-situation:
Eberl wants Tah. Kompany is on board with it. But there were constantly rumors about some member of the supervisory board not being convinced of Tah.
With Coman potentially gone for a very high fee, it could be like: “whatever, the rest of the window makes more than up for it”.
Doué and especially Xavi S. were different, because there was more unity in the club, and Eberl and Freund were pushing way harder for them as well.

Coman looks the happiest of all of them lol. This reminds me of the photo back when Pavard wanted to leave us. Damn he looked like we had taken his whole family hostage.
My Prediction for Champions league Draw
Pot 1
1) Real Madrid – Home
2) Man City- Away
Pot 2
1) Athletico Madrid – Home
2) AC Milan – Away
Pot 3
1) Sporting – Home
2) Celtic – Away
Pot 4
1) Aston Villa – Home
2) Brest – Away
If somebody is interested I found this analysis of our game against wolfsburg.

TLDR it isn’t very favourable for kompany and our tactics
> Arsenal have explored a move for Kingsley Coman ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline. Mikel Arteta wants to sign a forward as he looks to add greater competition in wide attacking areas. The cost of bringing Coman to the Emirates will be key towards any successful move, particularly given the lucrative wages on offer in Saudi Arabia [@SamiMokbel81_DM]
who called it? (I think /u/Thraff1c)

If this is true, maybe Bayern could struck a deal with Chelsea and loan Chalobah ala Dier.
UCL draw wishlist:
Pot 1: Barca, PSG
Pot 2: Arsenal, Juve (I’d want Atletico, but only 2 teams per nation is allowed)
Pot 3: PSV, Salzburg
Pot 4: Girona, Aston Villa
> 🚨🇪🇸 Sergio Ramos has still not made any decision on his future club.
> Ramos, currently assessing several options as free agent.
Servus Sergio
I still genuinely don’t understand why we sold MDL. Was he really that bad at being a ball playing CB? Maybe we should focus on actual defensive solidity instead of pretending to be Man City lite. ..
> Jonathan Tah’s agent Pini Zahavi to BILD: ” There have been several offers in recent weeks, all of which have been rejected despite his desire [to leave]. We want to avoid a player as deserving as Jona leaving the club for free next summer. That’s why we hope that we can find a solution in the short term that all parties can be happy with in the end. Jona made the decision to leave Bayer Leverkusen early this summer and communicated it to the club in several personal discussions. After nine years at Bayer, including the historic league title last season, Jona now wants to take the next step in his career” [@altobelli13, @cfbayern]
> Following yesterday’s meeting, Bayern’s supervisory board decided that further transfers would only be made after completing a sale. That’s why Eberl and Freund are currently working intensively on selling Kingsley Coman in order to proceed with a move for Jonathan Tah [@altobelli13, @cfbayern]
Just take your time, we still have 32 hours so nothing can go wrong
> 🚨🔴 Now the expected reaction and the confirmation from agent Pini #Zahavi that Jonathan #Tah wants to leave Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the next hours!
> „We hope that we can find a solution in the short term that all parties can be happy with in the end. Jona made the decision to leave Bayer Leverkusen early this summer and communicated it to the club in several personal discussions“, he told BILD.
> ⚠️ Barcelona and Bayern are there. But Bayern need to sell Kingsley #Coman to proceed with Jonathan Tah ✔️
> @SkySportDE 🇩🇪
can someone explain to me why we NEED to sell King first?? we sold players for solid amounts, didn’t have insane spendings either – now we desperately need to sell King before buying a guy for ~30M?
Yo wtf did they do to the CL hymn the new one sounds awful
i do hope the plan to sell coman without a replacement means that vinny and the club trust guys like vidovic to fill in
because otherwise i am feeling uneasy about our depth again with so many games ahead of us
Why not signing Hummels as free agent for one year (and then maybe getting Tah next summer for free)?
>Regardless of whether Tah should be signed or not, it’s quite astonishing that Eberl and Freund are unable to take action. We’re talking about a €20-30M fee for a club that generates over €750M in revenue. I said it weeks ago that the club, due to the supervisory board, is far too slow in a fast-moving market. This is a significant problem, not a minor one.
This comment from Bayerntalente on twitter exactly points at pur problems in transfer window. We seem to act really slow and there are too many people that need to agree for us to make a transfer.
Also it feels like we are broke. We sold players, didn’t spend that much and still we can’t buy player for 30 mln
