  1. I look forward to sticking it to Barcelona again. I think this is a great series of draws.

  2. See you guys in RO16. And good to see PSG got fucked.

  3. Villa and Barca away will be a problem but otherwise, no reason Bayern can’t finish in the top 8 comfortably

  4. Probably Müller’s final dance against his favorite opponent. Let’s make it a memorable one again.

  5. Couldn’t really ask for a better draw, looking forward to owning Barca and PSG. The matches against the smaller teams will be fun, especially against Zagreb. We have to watch out for complacency though, pretty much any team can steal points away from us if we’re not careful and we need a really good record to make it into the RO16 without playoffs.

  6. Nice draw, nice challenges. Here’s to hoping our 7 year unbeaten streak in UCL group stages continues!

  7. So bashing Barca is now almost an official Bayern tradition

  8. I like how it says “HAHAHAHA” down the right side

  9. With our squad depth (especially our situation with defenders) we will have a hard time playing every 3-4 days in BL and CL. 8 matches are just too much.

  10. Where exactly are the more exciting pairings uefa advertised? All i can see are two additional games.

  11. Pretty doable, all things considered. Villa is obviously the toughest opponent from pot 4, but other than that, we got off fairly easy I think. We should definitely aim for one of the top 8 spots.

  12. I wonder how this affects the finances of UCL teams. Two extra ucl games hopefully comes with added money for the team to reinvest but maybe I’m overthinking this

  13. Honestly a pretty favorable draw.

The way I heard the new format described was “eight games home, and away” and I thought it was sixteen total games somewhat. I feel a fool.

I feel like this is more exciting than the old format? Every game matters more, but fewer of them are, on paper, difficult, and a 6-0 first leg doesn’t mean as much because you don’t play the same team again?

For a bigger club fan, you don’t have so many play-the-youth-players return legs, and for the smaller team fans you have chances to go more places and you never have the other leg of a fixture you lost the first leg of badly.

  14. It should be possible for Bayern. None of the teams are stronger
