Should Germany change its migration policy? | To the Point
Germany is still in shock after the knife attack in the Western city of Solingen, where three people were killed on a Friday night.
While families process the grief and horror, questions arise. Why is Germany subject to these types of attacks?
The suspected perpetrator, with alleged links to ISIS, came from Syria, eluded the German authorities, and committed murder.
The result: heated political debates about weapon laws, deportations, and asylum. All this just days before crucial state elections.

Wenn ich das Talent hätte, solche Videos zu machen, wäre ich schon längst ein YouTube-Star🔥
I turned this video on to my kids and now they are laughing so loudly that the neighbors came over to see what happened💕
Debating Germany’s migration policy is super interesting—lots of angles to consider!
Has it been long enough since Angela
And her mic 🎤 drop to let the immigrants in. That's the question 🤔
As a person of color from US working here in Germany…navigating cultural integration in Germany could sometimes feel like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the manual—lots of pieces that don't seem to fit unless you have insider knowledge! In the US, it's more like jumping into a jazz improv session where everyone's riffing in harmony, no matter the tune they're playing. The German approach might have you sweating over the fine print, while over in the States, if you hit a wrong note, someone just turns it into a new version of "Yankee Doodle”! 😂
