Should he play a bigger role for Madrid this season?

  1. Somebody pointed out that he’s slightly older than Rooney in reference to the 2 similar FK’s they scored in the last few days. Insane.

  4. Even withouth the absence of several of our first team midfielders he should play more.

    Now with that absence, it’s a no brainer.

    He ain’t a squad player, he should be a key player, regarding his performance for Croatian national team today.

    He has the quality, endurance and the hunger that makes him one of the best it the world. Still.

  5. He can play a big role if Ancelotti and Perez agree to put him in long enough. He adds the ability to make reliable long balls. He is also a lot less physically vulnerable then some (ironically) young midfielders. Bellingham is for some reason quite vulnerable and is frequently out or hampered by some random injury (like shoulder of all things).

    Also, unlike Kroos, his pace did not suffer. He runs at around 32kmh which is good for a midfielder.
