  1. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova criticized the US presidential race, calling it a "hellish show" and likening it to Halloween.

In an interview with Russia's state-owned TASS news agency, Zakharova described the campaigns as "a monstrous theatre of the absurd," highlighting a lack of meaningful debate and excessive negativity. She criticized the nature of the election, accusing candidates of focusing on insults and compromising material rather than substantive discussion.

Zakharova also commented on the public's perception of the candidates, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, suggesting that the American electorate no longer takes them seriously. "This is not a debate, this is not an election campaign. This is some kind of hellish show," she was quoted as saying.

  2. Has the UK officially declared war on Russia? I haven't been able to find the official declaration, in spite of searching for it. Or is it just doing the US thing of engaging in a proxy war without officially declaring war, and thereby bypassing the need to get parliamentary agreement?

  3. When is NATO going to stand up instead of staying on its knees?
3 Russian fully armed military drones go, or crash into NATO countries, and nothing!
Once could be a mistake, twice maybe a coincidence, three times absolutely intentionally!
This is BULLCRAP! NATO shows it's weakness at every turn and now with a direct challenge from the very country NATO was formed to protect the free world from, they do a 100% face plant! This very well could be the end for NATO.

  4. Many countries want to join BRICS because they are tired of the United States’ aggression, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria told TASS on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

When asked why so many countries are seeking BRICS membership, Zakharova said that the world is tired of "America’s claims," attacks and "implicit or even explicit aggression."

"The world is voting for another format of relations," she noted. "The world wants to build relations differently. It would like to stay committed to the principles of international law. But since Washington, like a Hollywood movie maniac with either a lawnmower or a chainsaw, or even an axe, is ruining everything around, the world has to look for other formats of relations. And they opt for such formats as BRICS, not NATO.".

  5. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than 11,220 servicemen, as well as 87 tanks and 74 armoured personnel carriers since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In total, during the fighting in the Kursk area the enemy has lost over 11,220 servicemen, 87 tanks, 42 infantry fighting vehicles, 74 armoured personnel carriers, 624 armoured fighting vehicles, 361 vehicles, 84 artillery guns, eight anti-aircraft missile systems, 24 multiple rocket launchers, including seven HIMARS and five MLRS, two transport and loading vehicles, 21 electronic warfare stations, seven counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, eight units of engineering equipment, including two demolition vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle," the ministry said, adding that the operation to destroy Ukrainian formations continues.

Herewith, over the day the Ukrainian armed forces have lost up to 510 servicemen and 19 units of equipment, including three tanks, in the Kursk area, the Defense Ministry added.

"Over the day, the Ukrainian losses amounted to up to 510 servicemen and 19 units of armoured vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle and 15 armoured personnel carriers, as well as two artillery pieces, an electronic warfare station and 13 cars," the statement said.

  6. Today's briefing by US Sec. Of Defense Lloyd Austin, confirms that Russia and China have nothing to fear from the USA! Maintaining and protecting the International Rule of Law and the rights of Sovereign States is not a US priority. The depraved hypocrisy of US policy pretending to aid Ukraine's defense and liberation, while ensuring Russia holds its superiority in the air and battlefront, ensuring Russia's sanctuary to terror bomb Ukraine into defeat. I'm ashamed to be an American. Three US Democratic Presidents have supported & enabled Russia's imperial ambitions: Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, and Joe Biden, each a loyal corporate handmaiden and feckless elected leader. Each has confirmed for Russia, that its imperial aggression is acceptable to them, as long as, US corporations have access to the Russian Federation markets.

  7. BBC is correct, Ukrainians stopped Russians at Pokrovsk. BBC just omitted that Ukrainians retreated 20 miles due south. Welcome to BBC fantasy world.

  8. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Yeah right?? In your wet dreams!! Last I heard Russians are only 10km from Pokrovsk?? Ha! Ha! Ha! Propaganda bs agains from the Telegraph!!! PASS!!!!

  9. Francis compares the current propaganda with that of the cold war Soviet "Comintern," devoted to spreading communism throughout the world. I would love to know what he thinks the purpose of this post-communist version of the "Comintern" is meant to serve. Could it be worldwide oligarchy? corruption? or fascism?

  10. The person who described his slightly "cheeky" comments to Mr. & Mrs. Zalinsky was absolutely delightful! There is no reporter in the U.S. (or perhaps anywhere in the world) who could match his combination of wit and erudition.

Though I'm not a citizen of the UK, I would have to say, only a British reporter could have conducted such a deftly magnificent and insightful interview!

  11. As a foreigner, until I listened to this broadcast, I never realized how deeply empathic the British people (the primary listeners), at their best, really are.

  12. Found the show balanced and informative, as always, until Michael came on to talk about himself, and tangentially, ukraines leader.
Michael used the word "i" 158 times, and it was about Michael himself, and not the interview. He is a self centred egotist in my ears or eyes.

  13. U.S. occupied Europe (NATO/EU) needs to understand that if it is ever going to have access to Ukrainian resources for the 'green' agenda (2030 etc) that normalizing relations with Russia is the key. that means sanction roll-back, recognizing the Russian regions of Ukraine as Russian Federation territories, Kyiv neutrality with Ukraine disarmed and denazified of Banderite ideology.

  14. Ukraine captured on day one, a key piece of gas pipeline infrastructure in Russia that supplies Belarus and Europe that must be kept flowing — Could it be one of the objectives of the incursion is to divert energy from Sudzha back into Ukraine? or is this just wishful thinking?

  15. So based on these failed juranlists Russia lost already failed propaganda without facts whatsoever zelenskystein they failed president failed clown failed transgender is their new Jesus 🤣🤣🤣

  16. This reminds me of 1945 German propaganda, they kept obviously losing yet all the German media acted the opposite . since the Ukrainians did there battle of the bulge in Kursk, I say the war will be over in around 5 months and Ukraine will lose .

  17. I hope David's family and friends can take care the best they can under such terrible circumstances. In his short life he has done more good for the world than I could imagine myself doing in a hundred lifetimes. 🇺🇦🇨🇦

  18. Re-listening on Monday out of respect for the passing of David Knowles and with a sense of appreciation for the entire UTL team…

  19. Rest in peace, David Knowles. Through his podcast U:TL he resisted oppressive autocracy with the light of truth and humanity. I donate to Ukraine monthly because of the pod’s interviews with Ukrainian groups. In that way I am actively playing a part in this resistance. I thank and honor David for all his work, and I will remember him now and when Ukraine achieves peace with justice.

  20. Hi from Germany. So often i heard "I am David Knowles and here is Ukraine – the latest.." I´m just a random listener but when i heard the news i was and still am sad. i will miss David Knowles sympathetic voice and comments. My sympathy to his family, his friends and the team.🌻

  21. David Knowles created the most consequential source of information about the war in Ukraine. I listen to the podcast everyday , as will many, many others. My condolences to his family and all who worked with him and now will miss him forever.

  22. well, it depends, but it is unlikely if Russia is in a very bad condition,
