The latest on Russia’s counter-attack in Kursk | DW News
The Russian military has launched a counter-offensive against Ukrainian forces in the Russian region of Kursk.
Early last month Kyiv ordered its troops to enter Kursk in an apparent attempt to draw Russian forces away from the frontline in eastern Ukraine. Now, Russian troops have reportedly recaptured several villages from Ukrainian forces in the region.

Historically, Russia wins when they are attacked. They are weak on the offensive, but have lots of advantage when they are attacked on Russian soil.
