Fun Fact: The Electoral College has been considered outdated and been considered for Abolishment Several Times.
It worked for political BIG Wigs when 99% of ppl were illiterate and living in just 13 Colonies. The Electoral College needs to go away with the Other dinosaurs. U.S. Citizens don't live in 13 Colonies any more. In the Constitution or not, it needs to be abolished, IMO.
