  1. Im tired of the constant whining about the calendar. Also who’s going on a strike, and in what competition?

Because too many matches is a rich only problem, good luck convincing Alavés or Getafe players to go on a strike, losing part of their wages, so poor Valverde doesnt have to play 2 times a week or travel with Uruguay.

The only thing i see working is players from European teams boycotting the Club World Cup so they can have at least some vacations between seasons.

Or maybe introduce a cap in minutes, so a player cant go beyond lets say 400 min in a month. That would add a layer of strategy for managers and they’d be forced to micromanage rotations and subs.

  2. Most La Liga players play the normal 38 games in a season. I doubt they will go in strike.

  3. We want the entertainment and they want the money. They should tie the number of games to their contracts. If you want to play less, you earn less.

  4. When a business see the law reducing the work time, the contract new workers, so the teams should make more players play the games, maybe 8 subs will make the players rotate more, reduce the number os games is not the solution.
