Mbappe was supposed to be out for 3 weeks meanwhile he is back then we have Rodrygo with no injury but after last game it turned out he is injured after Atleti and not playing today as well. This shit is not adding up

Hoping that Mendy can improve from his poor start to the season, but I really donโt feel like he should be an undisputed starter if his current form continues. Heโs an excellent 1-on-1 defender, arguably the best in the his position in the world; but that doesnโt make up for his lack of production going forward. Without Kroos in the lineup, his lack of progressive passing is really exposed and we may just need more from the defensive line to offset the lack of creativity and build up weโve seen so far this year.
If we can find other ways to build up play, Iโd take Mendy 10/10 times. But with us struggling, you have to think Fran offers more of a threat and should at the very least be given the opportunity to earn his spot.
