For his 23rd book, “War,” legendary Watergate journalist Bob Woodward delves into the inner circles of the Biden White House to examine American influence in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and Israel’s conflict against Hamas and Hezbollah. The book also contains new information about Donald Trump’s interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin during and after his administration. CBS News national security correspondent David Martin talks with Woodward about reporting on deep background the most critical issues of the era.

  6. Nuclear War is a really bad craic! I saw a movie about it once and it was awful. Byron Donalds was in it, and he was lecturing Gov. Gavin Newsom of California about neglecting to clean the underbrush leading to forest fires, but Newsom had a horrible experience once when he was cleaning Kimberly Guilfoyle's underbrush 😋💃👄🌲🔥😱

  7. Hey COMMENTERS: while you're complimenting Mr. Woodward on his Presidential reporting, ask him where the book on Biden is. Woodward took a break, then came back to drop a book duing October. He's partisan. You need to lknow that.

  19. Exactly what I thought. Why Ukrainian support was stuck in congress. To give Russia time to regroup. So Putin doesn’t get embarrassed. Unbelievable. Actions always do speak louder than words.

Woodward always seems to gain the confidence of someone in the room where it happened, and so things that would live forever in the dark recesses of secrecy see the light of day and we find out the truth of what goes on in our government. If this new book doesn't illustrate that we've already quietly entered WWIII, I don't know what does. This election is critical to not only the future of our country, but the future of the entire world.

  24. Woodward is a national treasure – Trump is a national disgrace! A choice to believe a man that has exposed corruption for decades starting with Watergate, or believing a convicted felon who cannot put 2 sentences together without LYING, is not even a close call.
