  1. It's a scary thing. But I don't think that I can pretend that putting peoppe in a jail and never letting them out is the best option. Maybe for the people whom own the jail. But it's not going to make crime less. Being able to gain employment and seek counseling for drugs or mental illness would be a start. As a ex prisoner free since 2017, the most difficult thing to do is get a job and keep it. I am now in school and have received a offer for special training due to being top 10 gpa's in my class. Even with all this, i still can't get a job because of my record from almost 10 years ago. So, that's a problem! Not adding more time but doing something to allow peoppe like myself struggling and trying to get back on our feet. Sure people that are pure born criminals and don't want to work or be successful in that way sure but, what about people like me who are trying so hard but slowly slipping back into the life because of options. Options that the government wants to limit further. I am here now sober-ish. Trying hard but there is no jobs for me and if there is its taken away before my probation period is over. One of the highest gpas in my class for mechanical engineering. Time to stop thinking about how he can profit off of people being placed in jails like the states did and when is it time these peoppe are going to find some real solutions. Not easy ones that can help him and his investors profits off of the citizens of the country. Government wasn't created for that. They were created to help the allocate funding to certain municipalities for roads, schools and hospitals. Now it's a rachet, who ever sits in that chair always has string hidden under their jackets. Always have, always will.

  2. Canadian “justice” system is literally a revolving door. The cops are busy catching the same criminals because the courts release them to reoffend; most do before their first court appearance. The guy that shot the cop won’t even serve 8 years in prison. The guy that killed 16 hockey players and their coaches got 14 years in prison. Canadian justice system is a joke; there are no consequences for crime; they let murderers walk free. The only time you’ll serve real time in prison is opposing the policies of the Federal government. The leaders of the trucker protest are still in prison fighting for their freedom. The protests of bouncy houses and street hockey….

  3. same shit . now just getting exposed . my brother got stabbed with his friend trying to break up a fight . kid was on house arrest and still got bail . canada justice system is a joke and trudeau has to go .

  4. It's all a game. They are pulling the same bullshit in America they squeeze everyone from multiple directions taxes, crime, gas and grocery prices, race, gender until we break

  5. There is a much bigger problem than he speaks about, it's not the criminal say it released on bail. It's the flip side of that cops arrest droves of people for ridiculous things most of them being "contempt of cop". Contempt of cop is pretty much bruising the ego of a police officer It is the number one thing that is incarcerating people. Like resisting arrest should be a secondary charge but it's not. So you have mass numbers of people that are in jail for ridiculous things that most people should not be subject to. So they have to loosen the bail system because of the police overzealous arresting habits
