If Pogba reduces his salary to a palatable level do you think he should have a chance, at least until the summer?

  1. No. I have no interest in a 30yr old player who essentially hasn’t played in 2 1/2 years (1st because of a long injury and 2nd being banned).

  2. i want to say yes so bad because we all miss the days of pogba. but it’s over it can’t be fixed. sad but true. i want it to be a good move but it’s just a major chance it’s not gonna be a smart move

  3. No he’ll just get injured again after 40 minutes of being on the pitch

  4. Depends on how low he’s willing to go. Maybe Motta can work his magic like he did with Locatelli

  5. This is purely for the coach to decide after seeing practices. If Pogba plays better than the current midfielders in practice, I’d like to see him get a chance.

Focusing purely on depth, we have 6 midfielders that have played several matches so far this year. That’s decent depth. With that in mind, Pogba would have to play better than at least one of those 6 in practices.

  6. Just for the sake of nostalgia, yes. Than like he said, the pitch will tell if is worth it or not.

  7. If he was a striker it was be a yes. Midfield is more crowded, that said at a reduced salary depth option I don’t have anything against it. Ultimately though I don’t think Motta or Giuntoli want him.

  8. He said he is going to speak to the manager, and that is what I want to see what the outcome will be. Personally, I am a bit worried about how fit he can be should he be given another chance.

  9. No. Motta is trying to build a vibe in the dressing room. Pogba can’t be put in this new context. He’s an unpredictable factor. He’s done with the sport at this level

  10. He’s on something like 10M now, for it to be fair considering his injury record and him probably being out of form.. something like 2.5M fixed for the whole season with another 2.5M appearance and performance based clause? And maybe a +5m for something unlikely like winning the CL with a quantifiable net positive contribution

Idk, I guess he could make more money abroad so I believe he really wants to redeem himself. United nosedived his career pretty hard already, the doping shit dug his grave. Ending up in Saudi Arabia definitely will make him irrelevant and forgotten

  11. Get him to do a free 1 month trial and see if he’s even still at the level needed
