17. Yup, there's a reason why after 12 years of going with nvidia GPUs I'm going back to AMD. Was an ati fanboy back in the 2000's, then went to nvidia in 2012 because it was good performance for cost… among other reasons that I won't rehash here. Stuck with it in my last rebuilt in 2017, then upgraded to the RTX 2060 that I have now… but now? Nvidia's new products have me feeling somewhere between "Meh?" and "Ick!" I don't want to pay double for marginally better performance and outright lies about performance, packaged with AI-buzzword-salad-tech that I don't need, want, or intend to use. I just want a GPU with a decent amount of VRAM, for a decent price, that doesn't have new game breaking performance issues with every other driver update. AMD is good enough, and these days, that's good.

18. Unpopular opinion: NVIDIA’s VRAM amount for their cards makes perfect sense for their target performance. Their pricing is insane but the VRAM isn’t.

26. Honestly, i’m full amd, but right now I think 12gb is meh for a 5070. It should be 16gb, but that might not happen. Most 1440P games don’t use more than that aside from very few like jedi survivor. I have 16g’s with my 6950XT and have 0 Issues with running games so far although I do play FPS Shooters.

28. I want to buy an nvidia gpu for my next build, been an amd guy but I just want to buy an 80 series card with normal Vram. I play on 4k so i need it.

31. My theory is that Nvidia really just doesn't care about us gamers anymore. And frankly that probably the truth. Now, Nvidia makes a majority of profits from AI enterprises rather than gaming GPU. And people are still gonna buy the 5060, because "cheap" new-gen Nvidia card. There's also the possibility of them literally just not wanting to buy the lower end models when they could try to squeeze more money so that you get the VRAM that should've been on a $500 card, not $5000. While there is AMD, there will always be people who refuse to buy anything but AMD. They've got too big of a brand rep to fail, no matter what tf they do.

34. As someone who's current CPU is a 6th gen i5 and has an 11th gen i7 laptop all I've wanted since i bought that laptop is for intel to make a laptop CPU that doesn't get so hot and can actually match my old i5 without throttling lol
