HOUSTON – More than 1.5 million people have signed up in hopes to attend Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Houston this Friday, according to the registration website.
Two hours before the event, thousands lined up outside the Shell Energy Stadium and around the parking lot.
The Texas heat started to bare down on potential attendees. EMTs responded to the area and picked up four to five people who reportedly fainted within 10 minutes of standing outside.
KPRC 2′s Justin Stapleton captured video outside the stadium where Houston police were seen handing out cold bottles of water.
